Job Description
As the E-commerce Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of e-commerce for story-led fashion and lifestyle brands. Acting as the right hand of our Head of E-commerce, you’ll oversee a portfolio of clients, driving strategy, quality, and innovation across their online stores and digital operations.
You combine deep e-commerce expertise with people leadership and sharp strategic thinking. You know how to translate commercial goals into action, empower teams to deliver their best work, and build long-term client relationships based on trust, insight, and measurable results.
This is a brand new role in our team! And an opportunity to shape it together.
📍 All applicants must be based in the Netherlands.
Your role
Lead and inspire the team
Guide a team of around 6-8 e-commerce & retention managers and developers, providing mentorship, structure, and clarity. You’ll ensure the team feels supported, aligned, and motivated to deliver high-quality work that drives measurable results for our clients.
Be the strategic partner clients trust
Act as a senior advisor to our brands' e-commerce managers and founders, translating business goals into digital growth strategies. You’ll bring structure, confidence, and fresh ideas, challenging clients where needed and helping them stay ahead of the curve.
Drive quality
You’re obsessed with excellence. From campaign execution to site performance, you’ll ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail, spotting issues early and continuously raising the bar.
Translate strategy into action
Work closely with developers to turn business needs into clear, actionable technical briefings. You’ll bridge the gap between creative ideas, operational goals, and technical implementation, making sure every task is scoped, documented, and delivered effectively.
You’ll work alongside the Head of E-commerce to:
Foster innovation and growth
Identify opportunities to optimise clients’ e-commerce performance, from conversion optimisation and automation to platform improvements and operational scalability. You’ll actively contribute to shaping our offering and staying ahead of industry trends.
Own team performance
Monitor project delivery, client satisfaction, and team development. Together with the Head of E-commerce, you’ll play a key role in resource planning, feedback, and continuous learning, ensuring both clients and colleagues grow under your leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally
Partner with our Growth and Creative teams to ensure strategic alignment, cohesive delivery, and a seamless client experience. You’ll make sure ideas move effortlessly from concept to implementation through strong communication and collaboration
