Job Description
We’re looking for a Retention Manager (Senior) to join our team! This is your opportunity to work with some of the fastest-growing fashion and lifestyle brands in Europe and the UK, driving their retention strategies to the next level.
In this role, you’ll lead email marketing, loyalty programmes, and retention initiatives, focusing on scaling businesses through data-driven automation, segmentation, and omnichannel campaigns. If you’re passionate about building customer loyalty, crafting impactful journeys, and leveraging tools like Klaviyo and Yotpo, this is your chance to make a significant difference.

Your role
As a Retention Manager (Senior), you’ll be the driving force behind retention and loyalty strategies for our clients. Your expertise will help shape our approach to customer engagement, retention, and loyalty. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Be a strategic retention partner: Build and nurture strong client relationships, aligning email marketing and loyalty strategies with client goals to drive measurable growth and long-term customer engagement.
- Lead loyalty programme initiatives: Create, implement, and optimise loyalty programmes using tools like Yotpo Loyalty, creating strategies that boost customer retention and lifetime value.
- Drive client success: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, deliver insights, and offer tailored recommendations for improving retention and loyalty metrics.
- Optimise email marketing performance: Leverage Klaviyo to create and optimise advanced workflows, automated flows, and segmentation strategies that drive impactful campaigns and meaningful customer interactions.
- Champion data-driven strategies: Analyse customer data to identify behaviours, motivations, and opportunities for segmentation, ensuring campaigns are personalised and impactful.
- Mentor and inspire: Guide team members by sharing best practices in email marketing, loyalty, and retention strategies. Foster their growth and ensure the team delivers at the highest level.
- Shape retention and loyalty efforts: Use your expertise to refine our retention and loyalty processes, propose new initiatives, and build the foundation for scalable, future-proof retention strategies.
- Collaborate and innovate: Work closely with the Growth team to create cohesive omnichannel strategies that integrate email marketing, loyalty programmes, and paid media efforts.
- Ensure compliance and quality: Maintain a deep understanding of GDPR and email compliance standards, ensuring all campaigns adhere to best practices and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a balance of strategic vision,
hands-on expertise, and collaboration, making you an integral part of
our retention team.
Your Profile
- 4+ years of experience in Email Marketing, Retention Marketing, or Loyalty Program Management, with advanced knowledge of Klaviyo and Yotpo Loyalty (or similar tools).
- A strong understanding of customer loyalty strategies and experience in creating or managing loyalty programmes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to turn data insights into actionable strategies.
- A creative mindset combined with exceptional project management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with excellent writing and communication skills.
- A natural collaborator who excels in customer-facing roles and building client relationships.
- Passion for e-commerce trends, with the ability to recommend and implement cutting-edge retention and loyalty strategies.
- Familiarity with email compliance standards and GDPR.
- Experience mentoring or leading team members is a plus!
