Job Description
We are looking for a Marketplace Specialist (Medior) to join our team and take charge of helping our clients excel on platforms like Zalando and Farfetch.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing product listings, optimising marketplace performance, and developing strategies to drive growth in these competitive fashion marketplaces. A key part of your role will be onboarding clients to new marketplaces, guiding them through the process to ensure smooth integration and ongoing support.

Your role
As a Marketplace Specialist, you will be at the heart of our clients’ success on platforms like Zalando, Farfetch, and Miinto. Your focus will be on boosting visibility, improving sales performance, and ensuring that our clients stand out in these competitive fashion marketplaces.
Here’s a glimpse into your day-to-day:
- Be a strategic marketplace partner: Build and nurture strong client relationships, aligning marketplace strategies with client goals to drive measurable growth on platforms like Zalando, ASOS Marketplace, and Farfetch;
- Onboard clients to new marketplaces: Guide clients through the onboarding process, ensuring their seamless integration into new marketplaces and providing expert support;
- Drive client success: Engage directly with clients, understanding their needs, providing insights, and offering recommendations to improve their marketplace performance;
- Optimise marketplace performance: Leverage data analysis to identify optimisation opportunities, improve product visibility, and increase sales on fashion-specific marketplaces;
- Champion continuous improvement: Oversee multiple marketplace accounts, ensuring they meet seasonal demands (launches, promotions) while focusing on continuous optimisation for better rankings, sales, and customer satisfaction;
- Shape the marketplace department: Use your expertise and proactive mindset to build and establish our marketplace department. You’ll have the freedom to refine processes, explore new opportunities, and set the foundation for long-term success;
- Collaborate and delegate: Work closely with the Growth Team, including the Head of Data and Performance Strategists, to ensure seamless execution of marketplace strategies. Effectively manage workload distribution and capacity planning within the team;
- Become the team’s marketplace expert: Provide strategic guidance and serve as the go-to resource for complex marketplace challenges. Mentor and inspire team members by sharing marketplace insights and best practices;
- Maintain quality and efficiency: Optimise internal processes for marketplace operations, improving both client-facing experiences and internal operational efficiency.
Your Profile
- HBO/WO degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with marketplaces, either at an agency or in-house for a brand;
- Experience with fashion marketplaces like Zalando, Farfetch, or Miinto, with a strong understanding of how to optimise for these platforms;
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and act on performance data;
- Experience with Channable is mandatory;
- Proactive and organised, with great attention to detail;
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit;
- Curiosity and a growth mindset – you’re always looking for new opportunities to improve performance and stay ahead of the competition;
- Fluency in English is mandatory, Dutch is a pre.
